Walter Junger, LoriLee and managing director Alexander Zerzer

The hotel12 opened in September 2011.

With the experience gained from 20 years of managing international luxury hotels in Asia, America and Europe, Walter Junger and long-time partner art gallerist Lori Lee realized a long-held dream. A small hotel located directly at the mountain in the breath-taking natural landscape which seamlessly integrates design, art and lifestyle all in one.

At hotel12, they unite the passion for art of outstanding artists from Shanghai to New York, with the nearby ski slopes and nature walks of homeland Austria as well as the design ideas from the hotel industry.

Managing Director, hotel12

During and prior to his hotel and tourism studies, Alexander gained F&B experience in Denmark and Switzerland, as well as in the 5-star hotel industry in Austria. Additionally, he completed a Rooms Division internship at the Crowne Plaza Pudong Shanghai, China and before being promoted to the Guest Relations Manager. Before returning home to his native Austria, he served as Vice Pavilion Director in the Austrian Pavilion of the World EXPO in Shanghai. Since the beginning of 2011, he was appointed managing director of hotel12.
